| CENTRAL EUROPE Annual Event 2012 The transnational CENTRAL EUROPE Programme would like to invite you to register for the upcoming Annual Conference “Discovering CENTRAL EUROPE”. The two-day event will take place in Halle an der Saale (Germany) on 22 and 23 May 2012. You can now register directly through the following link: At the conference the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme will look at transnational achievements reached so far and discuss future challenges and opportunities for central European regions. A mixture of political discussions as well as thematic project workshops and exhibitions will be organised in order to highlight benefits of transnational cooperation in central Europe. The programme aims at building awareness and strengthening interactions between project partners, regional development experts, decision makers from the European Commission and other political institutions, and many other relevant actors from the CENTRAL EUROPE area and its neighbourhood. | Kick-off conference 2012 - The event, which took place in Rostock - Warnemuende on 26 January 2012 and that saw the participation of participants from different countries, focused on the importance of networks for the development of international transport connections. The aim of the discussion was to present the linking elements for transport and logisitc from the Baltic to the Adriatic see through the SoNorA area and the partner relations.
